Brand a Business with Personal Checks
~ This was posted on January 22, 2009
When it comes to marketing a business, branding is always the ultimate goal; a company wants to put their message together with visuals that represent them best and do it in such a way that anytime someone sees the logo or sees a tagline, they know immediately the brand that it is referencing. This is not easy work; millions of dollars go into branding companies large and small each and every year and creative teams are called upon to help craft the precise message and design the precise visual that will help achieve the goal at hand.
When it comes to branding, however, details matter; even the smallest of things are a part of the larger branding picture. Companies make sure that no communication is sent out that is not on their letterhead complete with company logo, that business cards bear the company insignia, and that emails include signatures that are consistent from employee to employee. And, of course, any checks that are issued from the company should have – if they do not already – the logo and other information that is specific to branding the company.
This is where many small businesses make a mistake, however. Spending the time and money to create materials that are meant to market their business, they forget to personalize something as simple as checks. In this respect, however, they are missing a significant opportunity to further the brand of their company. Personal checks offer another chance to introduce an audience to the brand; and they are a relatively easy and inexpensive vehicle to use.
Businesses can order checks online for deeply discounted prices. Further, such checks are personalized in whatever manner a business chooses – allowing them to utilize a palette on which they can infuse the information about their company and spread the word. Any chance a company gets to put their brand out there should be taken and checks are no exception.
